Madison Engelby
Madison Engelby is originally from Colorado and now calls Kirkland, Washington, home. She recently earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, where she focused on international development, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wyoming.
Madison currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Washington Youth Alliance (WYA), a youth-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people and advancing equity across Washington State. Madison’s dedication to public service extends beyond her professional life. She serves on both the Washington State Task Force Against the Trafficking of Persons and King County’s FIFA 2026 Planning Committee, helping to shape policy and awareness efforts around human trafficking prevention.
Outside of her advocacy and leadership work, Madison enjoys reading, singing, and weightlifting. She believes in the power of curiosity, creativity, and community—and strives to bring all three into everything she does.
Madison is thrilled to join the Bellevue Youth Choirs as the new part-time Operations and Development Manager. She’s excited to support the organization’s mission of inspiring young voices through music and looks forward to helping strengthen its programs, community partnerships, and long-term growth.
