Enrollment requirements

Before you register
- New choristers are accepted during our Fall and January enrollment periods after a vocal placement/audition.
- Choirs are designed as a full-season experience September–June, with two semesters: September–December and January–June. Families enroll for the full season and may withdraw at designated semester windows with notice. Tuition may be paid monthly, by semester, or annually.
- Vocal placement required.
BYC is building a new flagship ensemble to represent the organization. Members of this ensemble are expected to have musical experience and be comfortable reading music. This group will work on 4+ part harmonies, focus on healthy vocal technique, and will demonstrate refined choral techniques and singing.
This ensemble will support younger choristers in combined pieces for our Mainstage concerts, and learn additional repertoire to perform in the community and on tours. Because this group supports the organization as a whole, tuition is significantly lower and subsidized by the organization.
Rehearsal day and time is flexible based on singer availability, but it tentatively planned for Thursdays from 6-8:30pm.
