Griffin Becker

Teaching Assistant Wednesdays

Griffin Becker is an elementary music teacher in Issaquah, WA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Washington and recently completed his Kodály certification through the Kodály Levels Program of Seattle. He expects to receive his Masters of Music Education from Eastern Washington University in the spring of 2027. He currently serves on the board of NorthwestEducators as treasurer and frequently presents on storytelling and folksong at their workshops.

Griffin is passionate about bringing creativity into the classroom and is especially interested in the power of storytelling to connect and deepen musical understanding and engagement. When not teaching, he is likely to be found reading with a coffee or birdwatching in a local park.
