Caty Becker
Teaching Assistant Tuesdays
Caty currently teaches elementary music at two schools in Issaquah School District. She has completed Kodaly levels 1 and 2 in Seattle, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Washington, as well as a Masters degree in Music Education from Kent State University. Caty also serves on the board for Northwest Kodaly Educators as the Secretary, and plays horn in Formation Wind Band.
In the classroom, Caty is passionate about providing her students with multicultural experiences that deepen their global awareness and support them in making meaningful musical connections. When she isn’t teaching, she’s reading, crocheting, hiking, playing board games with her husband, or petting her cat, Mabel.
