Boya Hu
Boya is a finance professional by day with a lifelong love for music. She began classical piano training at age six—inspired by the accompanist in her childhood ballet class, and later developed a deep appreciation for singing and impromptu accompaniment.
To her, music is the most powerful way to foster connection and create lasting memories. She is a strong advocate for the Suzuki method, believing that young children can learn to sing and play instruments naturally before they learn to read music—just as they can learn to speak before they learn to read. She views active parent involvement as key to nurturing early musicianship and fostering a lifelong love of learning
Boya is also a proud BYC parent. At home, she loves making music with her family trio, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with their dog, diving into a good book, and traveling to experience new cultures, musical traditions, and cuisines.
